296MW REC projects from Maharashtra
Tata Power Limited recently won accreditation for two wind energy projects with combined generation capacity of 17 MW. The Maharashtra Energy Development Agency accredited these projects on 7 September 2011.
The projects have extended Maharashtra's lead in the wind energy sector under the REC scheme with the total accredited capacity from the state reaching 295.93 MW from 108 projects.
TTata Power Limited recently won accreditation for two wind energy projects Tata Power’s wind power capacity is spread across three states — Maharashtra, Gujarat and Karnataka. The Company has placed an order for 150 MW additional wind capacity to be set up in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu.
